Bobby Laurie has been a flight attendant for the past five years and some of the people and things he has seen you wouldn't believe. He's caught himself on various occasions re-telling his friends and family stories of what happens on the plane and at work only to think that they didn't believe him.

It's true, a lot of what he sees and experiences is too far fetched for some to imagine. So, in mid-2009 this blog was born. Using this website as his own personal journal and forum, he's now able to provide his readers with a glimpse into the life of a flight attendant and his personal life as he travels across the world.

Because of his blog's successes in its first year and public interest to learn about the job of a flight attendant, in July 2010 his first book, Planely Speaking, was published. Planely Speaking is a book based on this blog which chronicles how he began his flying career, experiences and insight from 30,000 feet and a short section on getting hired as a flight attendant.

He hopes you enjoy the stories and thoughts he posts here. He dedicates a lot of time to updating the blog and ensuring that the content he posts here is interesting and informative yet fun and refreshing.
